Online newsletter.&lt;br /&gt;2.       Database after convention.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6600cc;"&gt;ATES&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.       Encouraging younger teachers to join&lt;br /&gt;2.       Giving them responsibilities&lt;br /&gt;3.       Having regional branches&lt;br /&gt;4.       Sending teachers to events as an incentive&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6600cc;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;AZ-TESOL&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.       Each board member is supposed to send the membership chair the names and addresses of 5 (or more) people who should/could be invited to join.&lt;br /&gt;2.       Send newsletters to prospective members.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6600cc;"&gt;CATESOL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.       Collaborate with other professional organizations&lt;br /&gt;2.       Professional development institutes&lt;br /&gt;3.       Mailings&lt;br /&gt;4.       Website&lt;br /&gt;5.       Newsletter&lt;br /&gt;6.       Journal&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6600cc;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Michigan MITESOL&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;1.       We had become stagnant and last year we decided to make some changes. Some we have accomplished (most not):&lt;br /&gt;2.       Focus on more services for members (web site—new look—log in for members not finished)&lt;br /&gt;3.       Newsletter—focus on what members want, more reviews&lt;br /&gt;4.       Brochures—redo—give out to graduate programs&lt;br /&gt;5.       Conference—more professional (2 day) added conference proceedings and more opportunities for workshops&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6600cc;"&gt;MIDTESOL&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;1.       Using the TESOL hook of 3, now 5, complimentary memberships&lt;br /&gt;2.       Not much else&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6600cc;"&gt;ORTESOL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.       Newsletter articles&lt;br /&gt;2.       Website info&lt;br /&gt;3.       Revising our mission statement to be more practical and inclusive&lt;br /&gt;4.       Considering sending leaders to travel to regions in the state to meet/greet, survey, and distribute information&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6600cc;"&gt;Tennessee TESOL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.       We have a membership liaison person who is discussing pinpointing under-represented groups and contacting them&lt;br /&gt;2.       We included membership in conference dues.&lt;br /&gt;3.       The conference rotates through the state so that helps get members in all 3 parts of the state.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6600cc;"&gt;VenTESOL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.       We always try to recruit members at our national convention telling them how teamwork is, meeting with colleagues they feel motivated and offer to work with us, but I’m really worried because most of them don’t show up when we really need them.&lt;br /&gt;2.       We offer also discounts for those members to bring one friend.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6600cc;"&gt;WAESOL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.       Annual conferences and seminars&lt;br /&gt;2.       Newsletter (electronic and hardcopy)&lt;br /&gt;3.       Informal soliciting&lt;br /&gt;4.       Website&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6600cc;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;WV TESOL&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;1.       Reaching out to non-ESL K-12 teachers&lt;br /&gt;2.       Networking throughout listserv&lt;br /&gt;3.
